Biography

Mohammad is a doctoral student in the Politics Department at the University of Virginia, where his research delves into the relationship between public opinion and foreign policy in authoritarian states, particularly focusing on monarchies in the Middle East. His broader research interests encompass the politics, elections, foreign policy, and identity of authoritarian states.

Mohammad is currently an editorial assistant for the American Journal of Political Science (AJPS). He previously worked as a country analyst for Freedom House, a research associate at the Arab Gulf States Institute in Washington (AGSIW), and as an IR scholar in the international relations department of the Ministry of Commerce in Kuwait—an official governmental body in-charge of international trade.

Mohammad earned his MA in Conflict Resolution and Arab Studies from Georgetown University and BA in International Security from San Diego State University."
