J.H. Adam Watson Memorial Award Fund
The Watson award recognizes the outstanding work of one student in international relations or comparative politics each year and comes with a $1,000 prize. Recipients present their research at a professional conference and in a special session of the Lansing Lee/Bankard seminar series.
Adam Watson was a Professor of Foreign affairs at the University of Virginia, a distinguished British diplomat, and one of the founders of the British School of international relations theory. The award is made possible by a generous donation from his daughter, Polly Black.
