Assistant Professor Kevin Duong has an article in the latest issue of French Politics, "The Left and Henri Bergson." The article examines philosopher Bergson's polarizing role in twentieth-century French political theory, and the various ways his work was taken up by the French left. This was Dr. Duong's third publication of 2020, following his book The Virtues of Violence: Democracy Against Disintegration in Modern France (Oxford 2020), and an article in the journal Theory & Event.
